BIOGRAPHY

Lea is born and raised at a small town in south-Korea. She loved drawing and creating things since her childhood. When she majored in journalism at the university, she realized that working as a journalist wasn't what she wanted. So she moved to Seoul after graduation, the capital city of South-Korea, and went to computer art school.
Creating arts with just one mouse has fascinated her already since the first day.
After graduating the art school, she worked as a 3D artist for computer games and CDROM titles for many years.

When she started to be known with her job internationally, she moved to Switzerland for a new challange.
Unfortunately it was impossible to keep going on her career as a 3D artist, even though she got a job in a young and potential company. Unfortunately she had to quit this job just one year later. Since then her searching for a job didn't have any success. So she decided to work for herself with a name of "Lea3D". Since July 2009, she's working as a multimedia producer / 3D artist in a multimedia company.

On January in 2004, when she was in Palau for a holiday, she tried to discover scuba diving. She didn't feel so comfortable underwater at that time. Then a few months later, on May, she got the certification in Egypt. As a child, she was nearly drowned, and she's never been near from the water. That's why learning diving was a huge challange for her. As time went by, she fell in love with the beauty of underwater world. Then she started taking some underwater shots with a small compact camera (Konica Minolta Dimage X60) in 2006. From 2007 to early 2010 she used Canon EOS 400D with Hugyfot housing and two INON Z240 strobes.
Now she has Canon EOS 7D with new Hugyfot housing and the same two INON strobes.

The underwater Photography became the new passion of her life. She always feels the special bonding with underwater beauties, whenever she sees them through the lens. For her, taking pictures is like drawing something on a paper, creating something..something new, beautiful, extraordinary and impressive. That's why she never goes diving without her camera and she will keep going till she can.
